MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Al Jefferson has returned to the Minnesota Timberwolves after serving a two-game suspension for a DWI arrest.

Jefferson is scheduled to be in the lineup on Monday night when the Timberwolves take on the streaking Dallas Mavericks at Target Center. He was arrested in the early morning hours of Feb. 28 and apologized profusely after the incident.

Jefferson said after the team's morning shootaround on Monday that these ``have been the longest seven days of my life.''

The Timberwolves lost both games without their leading scorer at Dallas and home against Houston last week.

Minnesota sure needs its center back. The Timberwolves have won only one game since Feb. 6 and will be facing a Mavericks team that has won 11 in a row, the longest active streak in the league.
