Bscherer Agrees to Contract with Seattle

DULUTH - It turns out UMD's first football player to sign an NFL contract this spring isn't Duluth native Garth Heikkinen.
Instead it's fellow Offensive Lineman Jake Bscherer, who has agreed to a free agent deal with the Seattle Seahawks.

DULUTH - One of Minnesota's best high school hockey players in the class of 2013 without a college commitment finally has one as Duluth East's Meirs Moore picked Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Moore made the announcement to join RPI on his twitter account Tuesday.
