Chris Snider joined Fox 21 in September of 2008. His passion for severe weather inspired him to pursue a degree in Meteorology from Central Michigan University. During his collegiate career, he spent time working as a weather anchor for one of the largest campus-run TV stations in Michigan. In addition, he has worked at television stations in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota prior to joining the Fox 21 team.

He is thrilled to be living in the Northland to serve the people of this community. "Keeping our viewers ahead of the storm is key to safety and enjoying everyday life in the Northland." In his spare time, Chris enjoys volunteering, participating in outdoor activities, running, and mixed martial arts. He enjoys playing the guitar and applying that gift in a church setting.
