New details released on UMD attempted abduction

DULUTH, Minn. – New information is released on an attempted abduction on UMD’s campus.

Police said the vehicle of interest was spotted again Saturday afternoon (January 17th) at Ordean Court and University Drive.

The intersection is the exact location UMD Police responded to Friday, when they said a 40-year-old male tried to abduct a juvenile female.

Authorities have released a better description of the suspect’s vehicle.

It is described as a 2000-2004 Chevy Tahoe or Suburban, silver or gray, with a front passenger light out.

The suspect is described as having dark, mid-length hair.
