Kids Shake Winter Blues With Indoor Luau

The West Duluth Public Library hosted different art projects and games for kids to interact and shake off some of that cabin fever.

“They get a chance to use their imagination,” said artistic director Patrick Weber, with the Northern Expressions Art Collective.

“They get a chance to escape from their normal routine, and it allows them to really be creative and use their artistic side and hopefully meet some new friends and new families.”

The event is free and happens at the West Duluth Public Library every third Tuesday of the month.Tuesday evening kids and families got a chance to escape winter at an indoor luau.

The goal is for the event to bring together families from different backgrounds to learn from each other.
