All of Bentleyville has officially left the Northland for the season.

Volunteers tore down the 128 foot LED Christmas tree that stood tall in Bayfront Park.

After taking out the bolts they disassembled the 17 ton structure in stages.

Volunteers tell FOX 21 it was a perfect day for the project.

“Well the weathers fantastic, we couldn’t ask for a better day,” said Brian Nelson with the Iron Workers Local 512. “Last year, I try to forget cause it was really cold. I think it was around zero for a high, so we got lucky this year, definitely.”

Bentleyville officials also say the warmer temperatures also helped with a record–breaking number of visitors this year.

The tree will be stored in a lot until the next holiday.
