East Coast Storm Not Affecting Duluth Flights

No Flights Cancelled or Delayed

More than 1,700 flights were cancelled Monday morning on the East Coast.

But it’s not impacting the Duluth International Airport.

They are operating on time, with some flights leaving early.

Crews have been working through the night to keep the runways and ground clear.

“We don’t only have to worry about the runway side, but also the land side with the ramp, parking lot and sidewalks.  So, we also have a big crew who are working out there to keep it functioning for our foot traffic out there too,” said Director of Communication at Duluth International Airport, Natalie Peterson.

Fliers are encouraged to continually check their flight status and weather in their end destination.

The Duluth Airport has never shut down due to weather conditions.
