Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon Day 3 Update

Race is Neck-and-Neck Late Day 3

The finish line is in sight for mushers and their dogs racing in the 31st John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, as they approach mile 300 of the nearly–400 mile race.

It’s neck–and–neck between Ryan Anderson, who was in the lead Tuesday afternoon, and Nathan Schroeder.

Frank Moe is about 20 miles back, currently holding 3rd place.

The next rest stop is at Highway 2 in Two Harbors, and is the last check point before the finish.

Anderson and Schroeder are on pace to cross the finish line very early Wednesday morning.
