UMD theater students are brightening up the days of kids around Duluth.

Tuesday, they read the popular children’s book “Go, Dog. Go!” to youngsters gathered at the Mt. Royal Library, while acting out the story in costume.

The cast says the mini–performance will give kids a taste of the playfulness of the show, and get them excited for the main event.

“I hope it’s something that they’ll remember for a really long time, just to make them happy and inspire them to be creative,” said UMD theater student Shawna Rogotzke.

Opening night is February 5th at the UMD theater.
