DULUTH – I don’t know about you, but I am ready for a round of golf.
If you need to scratch your itch to hit the links, may I offer an alternative?
The 1st annual Twin Ports Golf Show is going on this weekend at the Clyde Iron Works in Duluth.
Several area courses like Black Bear, Big Fish, Giants Ridge and The Wilderness have displays in hopes of giving golfers a little spring fever.
But that’s not all. There’s a golf simulator upstairs with a closest to the pin contest.
Plus a chance to try out some of this year’s new clubs.
Organizer Aaron Raivola says now was a great time to bring a golf expo to the Twin Ports.
“It’s a great area and it’s close,” said Raivola. Yiu don;t have to drive two hours to see a course from two hours away. Whether it be a special fore rates for the year or stay and play packages, you don’t have to go too far to find that stuff.”
