House Damaged in Fire in Piedmont Neighborhood

Fire Damages Duluth Home

In Duluth firefighters are investigating the cause of an early morning fire.

It happened after midnight on Thursday on the 2500 block of Piedmont Avenue.

When crews got there they found smoke coming from the second floor and quickly knocked it down.

One person was taken to the hospital for minor smoke inhalation.

The fire left $30,000 in damages.
