New Event for Kids Kicks Off in Duluth

There is a new activity offering locals kids warm fun and literacy at a reasonable price.

In honor of “I Love to Read” month the Duluth Kids Club and Lake Superior Railroad Museum are hosting the first ever Story Time Express.

About 40 kids participated in the event which includes storytelling, coloring,
snacks and a scavenger hunt all at the Depot.

“We read the stories twice, they’re kid friendly, family friendly,” North Shore Scenic Railroad Executive Director Ken Buehler said. “Then after that they get to stay and enjoy the train museum as long as they like.”

Story Time Express admission is $3 for kids and $5 for adults.

The event will take place every Thursday in February.
