Carlton County Authorities Release Sketch of Wanted Suspect

Wanted for Physical, Sexual Assault

The Carlton County Sheriff’s Office has released a sketch of what authorities think a sexual assault suspect may look like.

They are looking for a white man, in his late 20’s to early 30’s, with a medium build, a shorter beard and short brown hair.

He was wearing a black Carhartt hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black work boots.

Authorities say on February 3, sometime between 10:05 p.m. and 11:05 p.m., a woman was driving on I-35 and stopped to help the suspect who was pulled over on the side of the highway.

The man sexually and physically assaulted the woman, according to authorities.

His vehicle is described as a 2003 Ford F-150 extended cab with a black matte paint job and larger black matte colored wheels.

If you have any information related to the whereabouts of the suspect or the case in general, call Carlton County Dispatch at 218-384-9520.
