Eating Fruits and Vegetables Prevents Cancer

A Duluth hospital is hosting an event to help cancer survivors.

St. Luke’s is hoping to educate people on eating healthy and teach them about the importance of fruits and vegetables?

Karen Johnson, a registered dietitian at St. Luke’s will give a nutritional demonstration and discuss the importance of nutrition for cancer survivors.

“This particular talk will relate to nutrition and some nutrition guidelines and tips to help reduce cancer risk by using healthy foods and healthy eating,”said Karen.

The event is free for everyone to attend and will take place on Feb. 17 at 5:30 P.M. at the Marshall School Auditorium.
