More than 140 people got together to learn more about health care jobs at Lake Superior College, Wednesday evening.

The event is designed for people who work during the day or have other commitments, but are interested in learning more about a career in the ever growing health field.

“There is a great demand nationwide. There is a trend and increase in job opportunities so in order to meet the needs of the work force here in the future locally, regionally, in the state and in the nation there is great opportunity for students who want to or wish to consider a health careers program,” said Laurie Jensen, Dean of Allied Health and Nursing.

Two more career fairs are happening in the Spring.

Wednesday, March 4th, the college is holding a trade and industry careers night.

A business career night is set for April 1st
