Chicago Natives Charged With Selling Drugs in Duluth

Two people from Chicago have been charged in connection to selling drugs in Duluth.

The Duluth Police and Lake Superior Violent Crimes and Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in the area of 200 North 15th Ave. East on February 11.

They found 20 grams of heroin, 16 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia inside the residence.

Michael Byrd, 41, was arrested and taken to the St. Louis County Jail.

He was charged with first degree sale of heroin, first degree sale of cocaine, and misdemeanor obstructing.

The task force, along with Duluth Police, executed another search warrant in the area of 1700 West 2nd St. later that day where they found 70 grams of heroin, $7,768 in cash and drug paraphernalia.

Officers arrested Bianca Jackson, 24.

She was charged with first degree sale of heroin.
