Trial Set for Man Accused of Killing Girlfriend’s Son in Ashland Co.

August Trial Set for Death of Two Year Old

A trial is now set for a Wisconsin man accused of causing the death of his girlfriend’s two year old son.

Twenty-seven year old Duane Amos is facing a count of first degree intentional homicide for allegedly beating the child to death.

Medical experts found bruising on the child’s rib, fractures, a collapsed lung, evidence of non–accidental violent shaking and blunt force trauma to the head.

Amos denies doing anything wrong.

The trial starts August 10th.
