State Patrol Car Hits, Injures Pedestrian in St. Paul
(AP) – A Minneapolis man suffered minor injuries after he was struck by a Minnesota State Patrol squad car while he was crossing the street.
The incident happened before 3 a.m. Saturday (February 28) at the intersection of Dale Street and St. Anthony Avenue in St. Paul.
A State Patrol report said 22-year-old Quincy Courts was in a crosswalk as the light turned green.
The driver, Trooper Peter Schulz, didn’t see Courts while he was making a left turn.
Courts’ injuries are not life threatening.
Schultz wasn’t injured.Â
