Duluth Police to Add Social Worker

Duluth Police are getting more help when it comes to responding to mental health calls.

Tuesday the St. Louis County Board unanimously approved a resolution to embed a social worker with the Department.

In eight years the Department has seen a 35% increase in those calls.

Officers expect to have the social worker with the Department in less than 90 days.
