Lester, Enger Park Golf Courses Hiring 50 Employees

Billy Casper Golf (BCG), recently appointed manager of the City of Duluth’s popular Enger Park and Lester Park golf courses, has job openings at several operational levels at both properties.

The nearly 50 part- and full-time positions include maintenance and grounds crew, starters, marshalls, retail clerks, customer service representatives, snack counter and servers, bartenders, beverage cart attendants, and sales and marketing associates.

Applications are available at Enger Park Golf Course at 1801 W Skyline Parkway.

“We anticipate several employees from last season will return, and we’re looking for bright minds, outgoing personalities and hard-working individuals to join the team,” says Gary Nelson, General Manager of Enger Park and Lester Park golf courses. “They will contribute to the courses continuing to be integral to the community as generations of families create lasting memories on the links.”

Host of roughly 70 tournaments and 40 fundraising events annually, the courses have long been a recreational mainstay, serving more than 180 families with innovative youth golf programs and 1,100 men and women through weekly golf leagues.

“We are working hard to establish ourselves as an important part of the Duluth community,” says Aaron Czajka, Regional Manager for BCG. “BCG prides itself on the personalities and skill-sets our teams bring to the table and we’re looking forward to working with the great people we’ve met during our transition as well as hoping to discover more aspiring individuals who want to join our team.”

Minnesota’s fourth largest metropolitan area attracts millions of visitors annually with abundant recreational outlets, stunning sightseeing venues and a thriving business sector.

Enger Park and Lester Park are critical players to the City of Duluth’s reinvigorated economy.
