More than 150 youth voices came together to sing.

The first ever Lake Superior Youth Honor Choir was held this weekend.

The one-day event gave students in 4th-6th grades a chance to bond over their love of music.

“It’s really unique because kids at this age don’t usually get to experience music outside of their school or church. Today, they get to come together with other kids who love music and singing and are excited about creating music with other kids their age,” said Jennifer Campbell with Lake Superior Youth Chorus.

The students represented more than 30 schools from northern Minnesota and Wisconsin
