Postal Distribution Center to Close in April

Set to Close April 18th

The United State Postal Service is set to close it’s mail processing center in Duluth next month.

The closing will affect several employees and will result in Duluth mail being collected and sent to St. Paul for processing.

The facility on the 2800 block of West Michigan Streets will continue to see use as a transportation hub.

The building is set to close April 18th for financial reasons.

Duluth is one of 82 mail processing operations scheduled to be consolidated this year.
