Sorry, this video is no longer available

There is still time to raise awareness and help locals who need help putting food on the table.

This month marks the Minnesota FoodShare Campaign.

Donations to any Northland food shelf will be matched.

Staff with Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food bank tells FOX 21 so far they’re having a really good campaign.

“So far we’re ahead of pace from last year at this time,” Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank Executive Director Shaye Moris said. “We’re hoping that our food shelf partners region wide are feeling that same boost this year by people who are being really generous during March.

More than 40 food shelves in the Northland are participating in the campaign.

The Salvation Army, CHUM and Union Gospel Mission are just a few.
