Continental Ski and Bike is teaching a limited class, providing 8 lucky people the opportunity for a $40 community service scholarship.

Eight people will go through three sessions of training where they will learn to assemble bikes, grease, and tune up the wheels, so they are able to provide volunteer work throughout the community.

“This evening we’re working on understanding bicycle wheels, from the hubs and gears to the tires and tubes,” said Bryn Jacobson, a service manager at Continental Ski and Bike.

The classes are only being offered Wednesday and Thursday.
