While many teens and young adults are lining up to see the premiere of the movie Insurgent, the Duluth Public Library had its own release party.

Insurgent is the second movie in the Divergent series.

About 30 students gathered Thursday evening to get henna tattoos, create divergent key chains, play trivia, and celebrate how the book has sparked a love of reading for many.

“It’s about taking charge of your own life, and kind of not going with the flow,” said library volunteer, Rebekah Franck. “I think that that appeals to a lot of people.”

The crew watched Divergent together and many plan to see Insurgent this weekend.
