The Minnesota movie production trend has hit Glensheen for the first time since 1972.

“Forgotten,” is the new California thriller based move to be hosted by the historic mansion.

The throwback involves a little girl who is found in the woods at the age of 8 whose past is a complete blank.

Fifteen years later, someone comes forward and says they are her mother.

Filling that empty void creates a mystery.

Clint Eastwood’s daughter, Francesca, plays the lead and several Minnesotans are in the production crew.

Producers and Directors felt the location was one of their lead character as it played such a vital role in their filming.

“We are delighted to be here because it just totally makes our movie.  You can feel the ghosts here and you can feel that this place has a past.  That’s really what we wanted to invoke with the film,” said the movie’s director, Joel Soisson.]

The interior was filmed in St. Paul.

The movie only took 3 weeks to film and is expected to be released this fall.
