Have you had spring break yet?
A local event is helping to make sure Northland kids have plenty to do with their time off.
Starting Monday the Duluth Parks and Recreation will kick off Spring Break Activities.
Every day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. they’ll host nontraditional sports games at the Heritage Sports Center.
Frisbee, lacrosse and disc golf are just a few activities.
“For kids of all ages it’s free drop in programming,” City of Duluth Volunteer Coordinator Cheryl Skafte said. “We just offer it every spring break to encourage people to try out maybe a new sport that they haven’t tried before. Also to give a safe, fun place for children to be and young people to be.”
