DULUTH, Minn. – It was a “purr”fect evening to join other feline enthusiasts.

The Duluth Art Institute hosted Walker Art Center’s Internet Cat Video Film Festival at Zinema 2.

More than 200 people attended the sold out show.

From people dressed as cats to real cats, it was the cat’s meow at Zeitgeist Arts Café.

“It’s this cultural phenomenon but we rarely get to share it in a crowd setting and share it with other people. This is a way to sort of celebrate this really popular phenomenon in our culture with a group of people,” said Duluth Art Institute’s Director Anne Dugan.

Animal Allies also had cat ambassadors at the festival and a local vendor sold kitty cat nip.
