Charge: Ely Man Threatened To Blow Up School
Sorry, this video is no longer available
A former Ely High School student is accused of threatening to blow up the school and take students hostage.
Travis Mattila, 23, is behind bars and charged with terroristic threats.
Court documents say he made the threats on Facebook between January and March.
But nobody reported the posts until now.
The criminal complaint also states he posted about raping young girls and murdering President Obama.
Mattila reportedly told officers he’d never actually do anything illegal and that he loves freedom of speech.
Bail is set at $20,000.
A mental evaluation has been ordered.
