SUPERIOR, Wis. – Community members took a stand Tuesday evening to end sexual violence in the Twin Ports.

The City of Superior held its 6th annual “Speak Out Superior Rally” to promote sexual assault awareness month.

Survivors were on hand to share their personal stories.

There were also informational booths for those in need of support.

“I think it definitely helps everyone affected by sexual assault to hear the stories and understand where everyone is coming from, it can be empowering,” said Simona Simkins a life-long advocate for ending sexual violence.
