Science answers questions like “Why do trees lose their leaves?” and “Why is it windy out today?”

Friday, UWS students hosted “Science Night,” where children and adults were invited to explore the marvels of chemistry, physics, and biology.

The event had lots of fun and interactive displays, including milking goats.

“Science is integral to every part of your life. You can find science in music, in art, in all of the other fields, just like you can find all the other fields in science, everything’s connected,” said Olivia Krause, a UWS Student.

Kids had the option to get face paintings and tattoos, and participated in a scavenger hunt.
