SUPERIOR, Wis. – UWS hosted its campus day of celebration Tuesday.

The creative showcase allowed students to display their hard work on this semester’s research projects, art work, music, poster presentations, and writing.

“Many of the projects that students work on are based in the community – have relevance in the community. (They) may be tackling problems in our community that are community problems,” explained Julie O’Leary with UWS’s Center for Undergraduate Research.

Organizers said the event encourages students to engage in the community, think critically and find solutions to problems.
