HERMANTOWN, Minn. – Hundreds of community members gathered at Skyline Saturday afternoon to help a family in need.

Parents Katie and Eric Borndal were blessed with twins in December but it has come with some complications.

Dane and Kale were born at 28-weeks and have had many complications.

Teachers from the Hermantown community planned the benefit to help the family pay for on-going medical bills.

“It’s one of those things where I think having twins is tough enough, trying to figure out the game plan with two bottles, two babies all at once and sleepless nights get difficult. Adding the stress of extensive medical bills on top of that is something I can’t even imagine,” said friend of the family Nate Buck.

If you would like to donate you can still do so as the Borndal’s have a GoFundMe account.
