New Housing Being Planned on Red Cliff Reservation

Red Cliff Reservation Plans New Housing Development

New supportive housing buildings are being planned on the Red Cliff Reservation.

The project will be set on 10 acres on the reservation.

The project will have 24 units ranging from one to three bedroom apartments, with eight units specified for Veterans, and those at–risk, homeless or disabled.

There will be three buildings, each having a public laundry area.

The main building will also have a community gathering area.

Rent will be based on income, and will offer a stable living environment for those trying to get on their feet.

The goal is to help those in need find employment which will lead to empowerment.

The units will assist individuals in building structure, independence and self–sufficiency into their lives.
