Hermantown Hosts Carnival for Boy Battling Leukemia

The Hermantown community is throwing its support behind a first grader who is battling leukemia.

A carnival was held for Caleb Fisher Friday with food, a bouncy house, face painting, silent auction and live music.

Organizers say it means a lot to the Fisher family, but most importantly, to Caleb himself.

“Just to see his smile as he skipped out of school yesterday wearing his ‘Hawks for Caleb’ hat and saying how excited he was, that just kind of speaks for itself,” said Kristy Gunderson, with Hawks for Caleb, a fundraising committee for the Fisher family.

If you’d like to help out the Fisher family, you can mail a donation to Hawks for Caleb, 4878 Trail End Drive, Hermantown, MN 55811.
