There could soon be two new elementary schools in the Grand Rapids area.

The ultimate decision will be up to voters this November.

The Board of Education has decided to push forward with finding a location to construct two new K-5 elementary schools.

It’s a topic that has been up for discussion since 2010, due to overcrowding and cramped classrooms.

The construction would cost around $70-million.
