Locals gathered for a two mile ride to promote active transportation.
Bikers and Duluth Mayor Don Ness rode down 2nd and Superior Streets for the 4th annual Mayor’s Bike Ride.
It was all part of a month long celebration to encourage community members to pursue a new mode of transportation.
“I love the idea of biking to work,” said Amber Haglund-Pagel. “I think the city of Duluth is a great place to do it.”
The ride ended with a luncheon and discussion about advancing bicycling efforts.
