About 400 kids journeyed by bus to the Lake Superior Zoo for the annual Earth Tracks event.

From nearly 20 different conservation organizations scholars learned about protecting wildlife and helping the environment.

“We just hope kids are aware that wildlife depends on people to help them with keeping the environment clean and doing our part to ensure that they’re safe and have wild places to live,” Lake Superior Zoo director of education Sarah Wilcox said.

This was the zoo’s 12th year of hosting the event.
