Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce Holds Campaign Camp

Campaign Strategies, Event Fundraising, Etc.

Thinking about running for Duluth Political Office but don’t know where to start?

The Duluth Area Chamber Commerce help their 2015 campaign camp Wednesday afternoon.

The camp was lead by former Duluth City Councilor, Jim Stauber and Steve Greenfield, a public relations specialist.

They covered many topics including how to develop a campaign strategy, organize event fundraising, how to work with the media and more.

“Being in a campaign is challenging.  I’ve been in 6 campaigns myself and worked with other candidates.  If i can take some of that edge off and encourage some more people to get involved in politics and election process and government, I think over the City of Duluth will benefit,” said Stauber.

The city needs to fill 5 City Council positions, 1 Mayor and 3 School Board Members.
