Hundreds of local college students threw their hats in the air this weekend as they advance to a new chapter in their lives.

UW–Superior awarded about 370 undergraduate and graduate degrees at their 119th commencement.

Family and friends packed Wessman Arena to see the big moment.

UWS alum Shaye Moris was the keynote speaker.

Moris is currently the executive director of Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank in Duluth.
