Deputies Arrest Two Men in Connection to Ainsworth Plant Burglary

Two men were arrested for burglarizing the Ainsworth plant in Angora Township, according to St. Louis County Sheriff’s authorities.

The crime happened around 11 p.m. Sunday.

When deputies arrived, they surrounded the building.

One suspect left the building and ran back inside after being confronted by deputies.

Both men fled out of the building from a back door, according to deputies.

One of them was caught after a short foot chase and the other was tracked by the sheriff’s K-9 unit hiding near a drainage ditch.

Both men face burglary and obstructing charges.

One suspect is a 46-year-old from Tower and the other is a 41-year-old from Duluth.
