911 Outage in Duluth Neighborhood

A large portion of Duluth’s Lincoln Park neighborhood is experiencing a disruption in 911 service due to the theft of some cable lines.

This will affect people’s ability to call 911 from a land line phone only.

Cell phone calls to 911 from this area are not affected.

The outage area is from 25th Avenue West to Piedmont Avenue between 4th and 10th Street, and is expected to last at least two days while repairs are made.

Approximately 900 people live within the affected area.

Anyone needing to call 911 during this time period should either use a cell phone to do so, or may call (218) 625-3581.

Duluth Fire Station #2 will also be staffed at 2627 W. Superior St. for those unable to call.
