Event at Miller Hall Mall Inspires Kids to Read

Dozens gathered to read and sing with princes and princess at Miller Hill Mall Saturday.

The free literacy event was sponsored by the Duluth Library Foundation.

They partnered with some local businesses to make the fun event possible.

“Hopefully getting kids exposed to reading (and) have fun. They get to take home a book. Hopefully it will start a lifelong love of reading that they’ll take into adulthood, I know that it worked for me. I know that a lot of parents are already saying my kid loves to read, loves books, so it’s great to hear that,” said Duluth Library Foundation Board Member Nicolete Stalzer.
