Andrews Pleads Guilty to Felony Murder
A murder trial set to happen Tuesday in Superior has been canceled because the suspect pleaded guilty.
Eighteen year old Chance Andrews entered the plea to a count of felony murder.
Andrews had been facing charges of first degree reckless homicide and armed robbery before reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors.
He caused the death of 20-year-old Garth Velin last September during a botched robbery attempt.
His sentencing is now set for September.
