Minimum-Security Offender Walks Away From Stillwater Prison

Patrick James Buswell walked away from a minimum-security unit at the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Stillwater Friday.

He was a grounds crew worker, and while working, walked away from his crew and left institution grounds.

Buswell, age 40, is serving a 60-month sentence for a weapons offense.

He was received in the state prison system on 1/5/15 and has been assigned minimum-custody status since 2/25/15.

His supervised release date was scheduled for 1/2/18.

Buswell is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 205 pounds.

He has brown eyes and black hair.

He is Caucasian, with fair skin.

Citizens should not attempt to apprehend Buswell.
