Sammy’s To Close Duluth Heights Location

Sorry, this video is no longer available

It’s with heavy hearts that Sammy’s Pizza will be closing its Duluth Heights location, located inside the B.P. gas station at 3 West Central Entrance, on Monday, June 22.

The building in which Sammy’s has been operating for the past seven years has been purchased by a developer, making residency there no longer possible.

The Perrella Group, who owns the restaurant, along with Pat Daly, the store’s manager, would like to sincerely thank all of the customers who have frequented the restaurant over the years.

They would also like to encourage customers to continue their love for Sammy’s by visiting one of their other nearby locations in Hermantown, 5106 Miller Trunk Highway, or Downtown Duluth, 103 West 1st Street.

Today, there are sixteen Sammy’s Pizza locations across Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin – all owned and operated by family members and close friends of the original Sam Perrella, who opened the first Sammy’s in Hibbing in 1954. Locations can be found in Hibbing, Duluth, Cloquet, Grand Rapids, Hermantown, Waite Park, Winona, Brooklyn Park and Coon Rapids in Minnesota; Eau Claire in Wisconsin; and Minot in North Dakota.
