Gov. Dayton to Sign Bills Avoiding Shutdown
No Government Shutdown
(AP) – Gov. Mark Dayton says he will sign the bills passed by a special legislative session, avoiding a government shutdown.
Dayton told reporters Saturday morning that Minnesota voters chose divided government in the last election  and that is what they got.
The Democratic governor says a sign of compromise is that no one is happy.
Minnesota lawmakers passed the final pieces of the state’s budget early Saturday morning.
