Man Killed in ATV Accident

ATV Veered off Road, Struck a Tree

An ATV accident in Bayfield County Friday evening is fatal.

Authorities said they received a call for an accident in Iron River Township.

37-year-old Matt Losen of Cottage Grove, Minnesota was riding with a group of friends when he lost control of his ATV on a corner, went into the ditch and struck a tree.

Losen was airlifted to St. Luke’s Hospital but died from his injuries.

Authorities said he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
