Marshall isn’t the first Duluth area school to host Camp Invention.

Last week, Lakewood Elementary played host to the same camp.

Students enrolled in the camp will spend their week tearing down disabled electronics and turning them into working 3-D video games.

The camp is broken into five different modules, each offering different challenges, such as an open design studio or creating sports equipment from recycled materials.

The camp will wrap up Friday with an inventor’s showcase.

The showcase will allow parents to see what their children have learned and created during the week.
