Duluth Police Warn of Dangers of Synthetic Drug Use

Synthetic Drug Overdose Triggers Warning

Duluth Police responded to what turned out to be a synthetic drug overdose Monday.

Around 6:40 p.m. authorities responded to the area of 100 N. 2nd Avenue West on report of a person in a medical seizure.

After interviewing a 50-year-old female, Officers at the scene soon determined this was a result of synthetic drug use.

The 50-year-old female and a 44 -year-old male were transported to a local hospital facility for treatment.

Duluth Police want to warn the public on the dangers of using synthetic drugs.
